Expedition Marriage Conference

Expedition Marriage Conference Looking for ways to grow in your relationship with your spouse? This relationship enhancement conference will educate couples on critical life and relationship skills for a safe and stable couple relationship. The Expedition Marriage Conference is fun and engaging for couples. The Expedition Marriage Conference is led by Allison and her husband, Tim.

This conference is a unique marriage conference opportunity. How to Avoid Falling For a Jerk(ette)

Have you ever heard or thought about a failed relationship: “Love is blind,” “Hindsight is 20/20,” or “I wish I’d seen the red flags!” Many of us go into relationships blindly, not knowing what is healthy and what is not. This one-day seminar explores relationship dynamics based on the Relationship Attachment model (RAM) and teaches warning signs leading to unhealthy (and unsafe) relationships, and keeping your head and heart aligned.

Some of the topics included in the conference:

  • Knowing when to trust
  • Commitment
  • Reliability
  • Knowing one another
  • Boundaries around touch

With the help of this class, you will be more informed about how to better predict the success or failure of a relationship or marriage, what a person will be like when married, as well as how to keep the relationship in a healthy balance as it progresses.  This seminar is designed for several age groups: teens, single adults, and single-again adults.

Parenting with Confidence

Parenting is not for wimps! As most parents know, (and new parents will soon find out!) children do not come with an instruction manual! Parenthood can be challenging, gut-wrenching , and rewarding, all at the same time. As parents, we are given the Godly command to “teach a child in the way he should go” in addition to many other guidelines. But how do you do that?

Providing parents with the skills to successfully navigate the sometimes exhausting and unpredictable world of parenting, this program will develop respect and confidence in children through positive parenting techniques without jeopardizing the love of their children. Parents will learn how to make a spiritual and emotional connection with their children while fostering a sense of self-esteem and confidence within the child.
